WASCAL celebrates the successful PhD thesis defense of Dr. Mamadou Ibrahim, a Batch 4 doctoral candidate of the Graduate Studies Programme in Climate Change and Human Habitat (CCHH) from the Republic of Niger.
His research, titled “Assessment of the Contribution and Management of Green Spaces Coverage to Temperature Mitigation in Niamey, Republic of Niger,” highlights the important role of urban green spaces in mitigating rising temperatures and supporting climate-resilient cities.
