The Board and management of WASCAL regrets to announce the passing away of its former board chair, Professor Modibo Haidara. The sad incident occurred on Sunday 26th August, 2018 , in Frankfurt, Germany.
Until his demise, Prof Haidara was a member of the governing board after serving as the first board chair of WASCAL. He was the chairman of the WASCAL Fundraising Steering Committee of the Board.
He selflessly served on the board from the inception of WASCAL with valuable contributions. As a pioneer chairman, he played very active and critical roles in the formative years of the institution.
WASCAL has lost an irreplaceable member and he will be sorely missed. The hearts of the entire WASCAL fraternity are with his family in these difficult times. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

WASCAL PERD D’UN ANCIEN PRÉSIDENT DU CONSEIL
Le conseil d’administration et la direction de
WASCAL regrettent d’annoncer le décès de son ancien président du conseil
d’administration, le professeur Modibo Haidara. Le triste incident
s’est produit le dimanche 26 août 2018 à Francfort, en Allemagne.
Jusqu’à
sa disparition, le professeur Haidara était membre du conseil
d’administration après avoir été le premier président du conseil
d’administration de WASCAL. Il était président du comité directeur de la
collecte de fonds du conseil de WASCAL. .
Il a généreusement
servi au conseil d’administration depuis la création de WASCAL avec des
contributions précieuses. En tant que président pionnier, il a joué un
rôle très actif et critique dans les années de formation de
l’institution.
WASCAL a perdu un membre irremplaçable et il nous
manquera beaucoup. Les cœurs de toute la fraternité WASCAL sont avec sa
famille en ces temps difficiles. Que sa douce âme repose en paix.
