WASCAL TO ENGAGE IN GREEN CONVERSATIONS AT THE WEST AFRICAN CLEAN ENERGY CONFERENCE IN ACCRA

Experts on the panel of WASCAL will engage in Green Conversations under the theme “Creating an enabling environment for capacity building and research for green hydrogen economy in West Africa” at the 2023 edition of the West African Clean Energy and Environment Conference (WACEE 2023) at the Grand Arena in Accra. 

Interim Executive Director, Prof. Kehinde Ogunjobi, Director of the Capacity Building Programme of WASCAL and Head of Department for Project Management Agency at Jülich, Germany Madam Kerstin Annassi, will engage in a global conversation with West Africa under the microscope on how research and capacity building is serving as the bedrock for facilitating a smooth transition from fossil fuel to sustainable and clean energy.  The conversation will be moderated by WASCAL Coordinator for Green Hydrogen and Renewable Energy, Dr. Bruno Korgo.

The two-day event will be characterized by exhibitions, showcasing, and stakeholder engagement from across the globe.

With a specific emphasis on Clean Energy, Circular Economy, and Water Management, WACEE serves as a significant forum for power providers, technology suppliers, investors, industry experts, and influential individuals in politics and economics decision-makers.
